Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Winter Solstice....they
all mean family,
friends, fun and fashion
In This Issue Don't forget to move your mouse over pictures

Happy Holidays, Seasons
Greetings, Merry
Christmas, Happy
Hanukkah! Yep, it is the Holiday Issue of the Crystal
Angel Magazine and we hope it offers laughter,
smiles and warm feelings all the way around. With Thanksgiving behind us and the frenzy
of the Christmas Season now upon us, The
Crystal Angel is here to relax our readers,
publish an Avatar (and a Real) gift giving
guide, and as always, offer up some tasty
treats and a few suprises. While some Moove residents celebrate the birth of Christ and our Jewish
friends celebrate the Festival Lights (Hanukkah), there are other celebrations going on
as well. Kwanzaa Yenu Iwe Na Heri!" is a festive, non-religious celebration,
founded in 1966 by Dr. Maulana Karenga, during
which African Americans celebrate and reflect
upon their rich heritage. It begins December
26 and lasts for seven days. Each day focuses
on one of seven principles: unity, self-determination,
collective work and responsibility,
cooperative economics, purpose, creativity
and faith. Many across the world celebrate the Winter Solstice - from the Hopi and other Native Americans to NeoPagans to Vampyres (not to be confused with Vampires), the
celebration of the Winter Solstice goes back
to prehistoric times. While some may focus
on the differences of each of these traditions
and those that follow them, the Crystal Angel
sees each of these festive events as a time
to gather, socialize, worship, and reflect
on the common threads in all of us.
We begin our Holiday Issue with Part II of
the Salem story. With Craftie missing in the Haunted Toy Store, CC babbling in a pumpkin patch,
Tory missing from
the Medical Center,
and
Latin Princess lost
- the answers to
"what
the heck is going
on" can be found
in
Salem Part II - along
with an answer to
poofing,
the strange desire
to have family in
Moove,
and other questions
of the Universe. Our Holiday vacation this month takes us
to Lake Tahoe, where we ski, snowboard, ice skate, and
hit the Casinos in South Lake Tahoe. The
big event of our Tahoe trip was no doubt
the "Angel Kiss - Global Domination
Tour" kick off concert at Harrahs. The group then headed to Las Vegas for some glitter and gambling. Mela, Latin Princess, Tina Marie and Tory
rocked out for the three hour extravaganza
and then produced two videos (Christmas is Coming and Leave a Light On) as well. If you have not had a chance to
catch this all-girl rock and roll band, you
are totally missing out. We say goodbye to
Latin Princess (Bass Player) as she takes
a sabbatical to offer her skills to the Americorp.
The many creative geniuses in Moove jump
on Christmas like a kitten on a ball of yarn
and produce some of the most amazing rooms,
outfits and accessories on the Internet today
- and the residents of Moove are quick to
use them to throw cocktail parties, formal
dinners, and small get-togethers. With so many wonderful designs coming out
of the Moove Fashion and Design Houses, we
decided to assemble a gift-giving guide for
the Avatars in Moove as well as a few items
available in Real. We have also listed some
of our favorite Widgets and web sites for
spicing up your Nick and web pages. You will
find all this and more in our special Holiday
Insert beginning on page 6.
Tassy is back this month with sound advice for the Moove resident. Tassy answers
the Holiday confusion
over what NOT to give
as a gift. Boyz need
to read this, for sure. Each of our magazine pages, as is the case
with every issue,
has a wonderful sound file
that goes with it.
We have changed the player
to a flash player
which looks like this and relocated it to the top of the page.
This should allow everyone to be able to
enjoy the full effect of all of our pages.
If music is your addiction, our November
Radio offers great Christmas and Holiday
tunes to get you into the spirit. This month we offer Brenda Lee, John Prine, Emma Shapplin, Grant Lee Buffalo and many more. If the sound file does not
play, please click the play icon. If you
like the music and wish to buy the CD, the
CD cover at the top right of each page will
take you to Amazon. If you just want to listen to the soundtrack
this month, we have placed the songs in an
MP3 Player for your listening enjoyment -
Click Here Last but not least, the Crystal Angel, heads
north (waaaaay north) with Mikey from Friends-R-Us and interviews the plump jolly dude we call
Santa Claus. A hard-hitting, no holes barred, question
and answer session produced several new insights
and debunked some myths about this mystery
guy who squeezes down our fireplaces and
eats our cookies.
We have also been busy at work looking for
new advertisers and
a major sponsor for the
Crystal Angel so
we may begin offering the
premier fashion and
design magazine on a
monthly basis. We
are excited to welcome T-Mobile as our new advertiser. We have exchanged
our Boost phones that we hand out on our vacations and adventures
for the Sidekick LX by T-Mobile. The new Sidekick LX is sleek and slim and includes a large screen
that incorporates high-definition LCD technology,
a camera with flash, and mood lights which
lets users set specific settings for various
communication alerts. The LX is also Bluetooth capable, and has signature swivel screen,
amazing keyboard, plus the killer MySpace experience, you can't miss. Now if we could
get them to make it Moove compatible, we Avatars will be styling. In closing, the staff of the Crystal Angel
would like to offer our deepest thanks to
all who have helped out this month and all
of us wish the warmest holiday cheer to our
all friends, family and Moove residents.
We love you all so very much.
Peace and Love Forever
