What is making the Fashion news. Trends and
Styles from the top designers in Moove
Don't forget to move your mouse over pictures
for a description Although the tabloids in the supermarket
line procalim that "The Crystal Angel"
sets the fashion styles and trends in Moove,
the truth is we just report on what we see
coming out of the Moove design houses. Not only would it be totally impossible to
influence the fashion in such a diverse community
as Moove, the fact that Moove residents are
from all over the globe, living in dozens
of different weather climates makes trying
to "push" one style or another
a major waste of time. Our goal this month was to do what we do
best - GO SHOPPING.and look over what is
coming out of Fashion Row in downtown Moove.
From shoes to party gowns to furniture, one
thing became very clear: the haute couture
in Moove are hard at work making sure we
all look and feel mighty good. Colors: Black continues to play a major role in
Winter fashion, and can be found in all the
top designers boutiques and Winter lines.
Latex, while still popular is losing ground
to leather, velvet and silk. The red hues
also continue to be highly popular with deep
ruby, blood and rich maroons popping up almost
everywhere. Andrea Sweet Girl, whose designs
sell out every season, has gone heavy into
deep rich hues of purple, red, navy and greens
on short and sexy holiday dresses, which
are selling like hotcakes at an all-you-can-eat
pancake breakfast.
Chanteel Roses is one of the few Design Houses
offering scrumptious designs in purple. Purple
and black always look great together, and
Chanteel and her sister Marge have found
a winner in their new designs. The great
thing about the designs of this top notch
Sister team is that they offer color coordinated
panties and under garments to match their
"must have" designs.
The direction of colors coming from the respected
Juntu's Boutique run the opposite direction
of Chanteel and Andrea. Focusing on solid
earthy tones, often with a combat pattern,
Juntu and her designers have created a look
that is unique and easy to mix and match.
Not being content to stay in the low key
colors, Juntu has also grabbed onto the popularity
of purple and the new pink - gold.
When we launched the Crystal Angel in February
of 2007, we Interviewed C@ndi Sinz who said,
"I do not depend on current styles and
trends". The amazing Design House continues
to pump out the most cutting edge anti-fashion
in Moove today. Her latest artwork taps into
the Victorian era with bold blacks against
whites, reds on black and even a rare winter
venture in lavender. C@ndi may not depend
on trends but she sure does create them.
Fabrics:While the weight of the fabric for this seasons
designs depend on the climate each Moove resident chooses to enjoy life in,
one thing is certain everywhere (and is a
top priority for all the Design Houses on
Fashion Row) - quality. While designers in
real continue to cut corners on the quality
of fabric, Moove designers do not compromise.
While they embrace new and hi-tech fabrics
(if up to standard), they are also quick
to hold onto what has proven successful.
It is this merging of past and future that
allows the Moove resident to wear the most
outrageous fashions while barely knowing
they have it on. The Crystal Angel could not be happier that
one of the proven successes (silk lining
in almost all garments) is being carried
over to another season. There is nothing
that feels as nice as a fine silk against
your legs and other special places. purrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Silk also plays a role in the rest of the
garments as well; often combined with rich
velvets to create designs that compliment
both fabrics. Matti of Matti's Boutique has
brought the art of silk and velvet to new
levels as can be seen by her ruby and black
Red Spice Gown below. Matti besides being
a bonified creative genius, is one of the
most polific artists in Moove today..
On the other hand, rumour has it that the
reclusive and highly
prolific designer, Lady
Fire, is shunning
velvet in her Gown Designs,
moving to pure silk
and satin. As is the
case with the cat
and mouse game that is
known as the High
Fashion Industry, espinoge
runs rampant. The
Crystal Angel often purchases
third party shots
from paparazzi and we were
lucky enough to get
a clear shot of a new direction in design and fabric for Lady
Fire. (coming soon)
Jewelry: Trends in jewelry are always a bit tough
to pin down. Jewelry is a personal statement
and each person and designer is attracted
to their indivdual style. Bold and cutting
edge designers like C@ndi Sinz offer larger
and more glamorous designs in gold and feathers,
while Matti has been doing amazing things
with small gems and jewels to offer a softer
approach. Two important signs of where the jewelry
industry is heading were difficult to find
- Watches and Wedding Rings. While there
are some exciting and fashionable designs
from seasons past, few designers are creating
these products for the Winter Fashion Season.
We would like to see more. smiles. We were excited to find the Jewelry Box which offers srf's, textures and rendered
images for those that wish to venture into
the demanding but highly profitable Moove
Jewelry Industry.
Style:The greatest part of the Fashion Industry
in Moove is that
"style is what
you
make it". From
the evening gowns
(ice,
blues, whites and
deep rich hues are
in)
to the casual sweater
bearing your favorite
sports team (team
spirit is always
in fashion),
Moove Designers are
creating fashion
for
any and every style.
While the Lolita Schoolgirl look, fashionable
last summer and spring,
failed to catch on
in the main stream, the new glam look coming out
of the top design houses may prove different.
Also, while the very boundries of design
technology are being reached, Tecno-Designer
Livid has created a huge following with her
Super Hero Collection of actors and her recent
terminator actor in flawless detail. Livid
continues to smash her head against the outer
limits of design and frankly, the Crystal
Angel is darn happy about it.. One high point of the Lolita look of last
summer is the modified schoolgirl skirt in
traditional Scottish weaves and patterns.
Jess1ee is at the forefront of this new style.
By offering light weight patterns in a variety
of colors, Jess1ee has given the Moove lady
a wonderful tool in her mix and match arsenal.
We loved combining the red and green skirt
with a Sideous sparkly green tank top for
the purrrfect holiday rendevous. We would
add that we would love to see a matching
jacket for some of her tasty and elegant
tank tops. For the Men of Moove, Maggy and Dave have
been pushing their small work force to the
brink of exaustion, but the results are way
impressive. Sweaters in deep rich earth tones
in a variety of warm fabrics and weaves are
all the rage and look darn good on our Moove
men. Other hot trends in mens design are
capes, leather jackets, spurs, and thigh
high boots with 4 inch heels. Good luck boyz. Home Decor: Say good bye to the old fashioned red and
blue overstuffed chairs of yesterday. Antiques,
suede sectionals and soft ultrasuede comfy chairs are what the Moove resident is demanding
- and the designers are listening. Lady Petra
has created a stunning line of sofas in high
quality leather, the softest cottons and
deep suedes. By offering her designs in a
wide variety of colors (grape, slate, rose,
black, plum, Irish green) and fabrics, Petra
has raised resting ones rump to a fine art
and a sinful pleasure. The old blue and red comfy chairs are not
the only home products heading to the local
Goodwill donation drop off. The kitchens
of yesterday are no longer in vogue. Stainless steel is the trend of this season
and Livid caught the eye of this fashion
writer with her collection of "take
that Amana" line of kitchen appliances.
To launch her new line, Livid is giving away
a FREE refrigerator and oven with a complete
kitchen make over. Now there is a Christmas
present every girl will swoon over. Whatever your flavor, your style, or your
fashion, the Moove
Designers can create whatever
and whoever you desire
- and always remember,
you set the trend
because in Moove, each
of us is a trend-setter.
