Welcome to Autumn and our October Issue of the Moove community inspired, "Crystal Angel Fashion and Design Magazine."
As Mela and I worked on this issue, we all watched as the Real World economy showed signs of crumbling, forcing us to look again at what is important and what is not.
But while we may worry a teenie bit about what tomorrow will bring, today our lives are filled with blessings and beauty and amazing possibilities.
The Crystal Angel has settled into a bi-monthly publishing schedule which has allowed us to present a deeper, more enjoyable and a higher quality experience than a monthly issue allows. While we had planned on publishing every month, the lack of a major sponsor made Mela and I rethink how we created and published your community magazine.

Tory and Mela on the Campaign Trail - Page One

It requires MAJOR work to put out the Crystal Angel (from the music, to coding, to flash movies to the amazing art of Mela); and as the Presidential Election gets closer, both Mela and I find ourselves with less and less time. Who would have thunk that running for President was soooo much work?
Besides being very hard work, running for President has also forced both Mela and I to fight off angry voters, confront prejudice, dodge violence and endure verbal abuse.
With our funds dwindling, we headed to Washington D.C. for meetings with W. and on to New York where we were warmly greeted by supporters and undecided voters. You may read all about our Campaign in our Election Update article on Page One.

The nightmare, the adventure and Beanz 7 - Page Two
In our ongoing saga of the "Beanz", Angel Kiss spends the last remaining days in Amazonia wrapped in horror and fear, as we say goodbye to Dark Embrace (?).
Missing since the 2nd Annual Rose Cruise, our discovery in Brazil convinces us that Embrace has been permanently poofed by the same evil that threatens to destroy all of Amazonia. You may begin reading Beanz 7 on Page Two.
Our vacation this issue was to take many of us to Africa, which was to happen at the same time the Moove contest on African Design was happening. Unfortunatly, the vanishing of Angel Two and Angel Three, along with the flight from Toronto to Cairo, forced Angel Kiss to travel to the dark continent on their own.
If our trip to Africa had a purpose, Mela was the only one who knew it. I had hoped to visit Summer Breeze in Mali, and try my surfing skills off the coast of South Africa - but Mela and her secret purpose had us zigzagging through Central Africa from Sudan to Gabon.
We began our adventure in Cairo, Egypt with Mela meeting with Egyptionman and Queeny while I took a campaign side trip to Iraq. Our float down the Nile to the Southern border allowed Craftie, Twisted, Mela and me to finally relax and heal. Cairo can be enjoyed on Page Three, but we really suggest starting the adventure on Page Two.

If the Amazon is a feast for the senses, Africa steals your heart and fills your soul.
Woven throughout the majestic scenery, proud history and noble peoples are threads of unimaginable horror and unthinkable suffering. It was in Sudan that I began to understand the connection between my nightmare in Brazil and Melas purpose.
From the past to the present and on to the future, the members of Angel Kiss were like sponges trying to absorb an ocean of beauty, tragedy, life, love and culture.
Our African adventure ended in Gabon where we rocked a crowd of 120,000 in a free concert to benefit The African Childrens Choir. It was also in Gabon that the purpose of our trip became painfully clear.
Our Designer Focus in this issue brings us the absolutely amazing artwork, fashion and designs of Andrea Sweet Girl.

When we approached Andrea about letting us do an article on her, not only did she humbly accept - but Andrea designed a complete African inspired line. How totally kewl is that?
Andrea's Boutique is a cornucopia of everything from custom eyelashes to fantasy wear to some of the most of sought after fashions in Moove today. Read all about Andrea and check out her Shopping Kiosk on Page Nine of the Halloween Insert due out on the 23rd of October

DreamReaper has brought his ongoing fiction story, "The Prophecy" - Stacia offers her Vampire shorties - PRBabyGurl is bringing us "The Spanish Quarter" and co-owner of the Crystal Angel, Mela, covers members of our community (in depth) with her wonderful "Interior Motives".
Editors Note: Mela and PR are on sabbatical but will return next issue.
We continue to fine tune and improve your favorite magazine, while making sure we do not overlook any of our amazing designers, friends and community members. Our Halloween Insert will be out on October 22nd, just in time for Mystic Moons' Halloween Rave.
If you will look to the left, you will see widgets from Linda TX, Tryad and more. These are the absolute best way to advertise for free in the Crystal Angel. If you need help in creating one, please give us a buzz and we will help you.
Our soundtrack in this issue is a departure from past soundtracks and encompasses a wide range of both traditional African and African-inspired tunage. I think it is the best ever, but I am kinda prejudiced. LOL. Use the ON AIR button at the top left if you would like to listen without reading the full issue. We suggest that you listen to the soundtrack on each page for the full experience. There are some tasty hidden treats in it. LOL
