Anyone that thinks that I am responsible
for this magazine is either really, really
high or as crazy I was when I thought I could
do this twice a month. The Crystal Angel could not exist without
a bunch of really kewl people and some software
that makes it toooo easy to put together.
For those that wonder how a blond cowgirl
from the backhills of Colorado with no computer
training can do all this, I offer my deepest
thanks and warm hugggs to the following: Lothar: I have never met him and I don't know if
he is really a person
or not, but without
his support and encouragement,
the Crystal
Angel would not be
the force in fashion
it
has become in two
short months. So
to Lothar,
I send out two dozen
roses and box of
Toffee
from Bedrock, Colorado. Morning Glory Industries: Although they wish not to be named, two
wonderful people in Telluride, Colorado who
own SkiMall.Net offered me copyrighted coding
and technical assistance to put this layout
together. Trust me, I would be like 70 years
old before I got my first edition out if
it had not been for these two friends. In
addition to giving me permission to use thier
code, they gave me free web space and 50%
of the money from the Google ads and any
CD's I sell. How totally kewl is that? AngelEyezs: Angel is my creative fuel, my confidant,
my partner and she makes me laugh when things
get tough. I love you Angel and thank you
for urging me on and saying you are proud
of me. The Software: To make the web pages, I use IBM TopPage which is a breeze to figure out and use
and for my pics I
use IBM Web Art Designer. I did not choose these as they were already
on Jill's computer,
but I sure do like them
alot. For the totally
kewl movies and movie
ads, I use a program
called Swish and then host them on Photobucket.com. I also found some great free stuff at Dynamic
Drive.com. Dynamic
Drive is where I found
the code for the
Shopping Kiosks. My Moove Friends: To all my friends and family Moove, thank
you for understanding why I am hard to find
at the end of the month. It seems that the
amount of time for getting the magazine out
gets shorter and shorter. I appreciate you
all and am grateful that each of you have
come into my life. I have to thank Jill my roommate for more
than I could ever put down on this page.
While I love to write, I don't have the eye
for grammar or punctuation that my dear Jill
has. Even though she is busy taking care
of me, working and going to school, Jill
finds the time to go over my writing and
edit it as well as adding some of the more
flowery story telling. Thank you Jill for
everything. Last, but not least, I have to thank the
wonderful designers in Moove who make having
a fashion magazine possible. I am amazed
on a daily basis when I see the amount of
creativity that exists in our small town.
When you see these designers, thank them
for me, and know that without them our lives
would be colorless, dull and we would all
dress the same. Thank you to all the Designers
from the bottom of my heart.
