The backbone of our community and true working
class heroes
A gorgeous

If you were to ask any long-time Moove resident,
"what makes
Moove so utterly, totally,
in-your-face KEWL",
the answer would
most likely be, "The
Amazing Designers". The Crystal Angel would not exist if it were
not for these "Working
Class Heroes",
and from the launch
of the Crystal Angel
to this day, it is
these geniuses that
have
made this venture
such a joy. While many amazing artists have been involved
with the Crystal Angel over the past year,
we have decided to focus on four who were
involved in a major way with the magazine
since its beginning.
C@NDI -February 2007 Issue When Angeleyezs and I began the magazine
in February 2007, I knew we needed a big
name designer for the first issue. We needed
a genius, a name that everyone would recognize....we
needed C@ndi Sinz. She was more than gracious, and after politely
telling me that she
does not give interviews,
invited me over for
her first ever interview.
It was my first as
well. The only interviewing
I had ever done was
asking my kitty if he
was hungry - not
really a sound base for
interviewing a Designer
of C@ndis stature. I do not think C@ndi really knows the impact
on the Crystal Angel
of her appearing
in
the first issue.
She set the standard
and
gave our little magazine
a level of respectability
from the very start. C@ndi is somewhat of a recluse, until someone
needs help launching
their designing career
- then she is one
of the most knowledgable
instructors in Moove.
To list the many modern
day Designers she
has helped would fill volumes.
But C@ndi has not
been just teaching. She
is tied with Matti
and Livid as the most
prolific artist in
our community. As a subscriber to the Designer Board, rarely
does a day go by that I do not recieve an
email stating that this Portuguese Diva has
created something new. Her most recent creations
are one-of-a-kind hair styles for the private
areas of boyz - uhm, let's just call them
Toupees for the Twig and Berries. One of the kewlest things about C@ndi's designs
is that she is great at mixing up free items
and those that cost a few CC's. We strongly
suggest visiting C@ndi on a weekly baisis
to stay up to date or subscribe to the Designer Board. We tried like the dickens to get in to see
C@ndi so we could run an update on her life
in Moove for our readers, but were unable
to get our paths to cross. Hopefully we can
catch her Spring Fashion Show for the next
issue. We do know this, life in Moove is more colorful
and exciting since C@ndi moved here almost
five years ago and we here at the Crystal
Angel are proud to call her our friend and
mentor. Click Here to see all of C@ndi's recent designs.
Matti - April 2007 Issue Matti, owner of Matti's Boutique, has also
supported the Crystal
Angel from the beginning
and her amazing Spring Fashion Show in Banff, Alberta was featured in our April issue. If C@ndi is a recluse, then Matti is a creative
hermit. If you catch
Matti out and about,
grab her, have a
seat and pick her
brain. Her top notch staff and diverse employee
base has allowed Matti to focus on designing
while her team produces the fashions and
jewelry of the highest quality. Matti has
been a resident of Moove for more than two
years, most of it spent developing her unique
style.. Although Matti and I have only met twice
in the past year
(out of my respect
for her
privacy), she and
the Crystal Angel
communicate
almost weekly. Matti
has become such a
dear
friend to us at the
magazine, that she
is
often mentioned during
our staff meetings. When we visited Matti last April at her
killer Spring Fashion Show, she had just
begun to dabble in the highly lucrative Jewelry
Trade. Today, Matti is one of the most famous
jewelry designers in Moove and her creations
are highly sought after by the elite and
middle-class residents of Moove.com. Recently, Matti released her Amethyst Burst
Necklace series, Amethyst Diamond Julie series,
and a stunning Black Onyx & Diamond Necklace.
Matti's Black
Onxy and Diamond Necklace.
Fit for a Queen.
Matti's Black Onyx & Diamond Necklace,
with 4 huge stones
of shiny black onyx and
three massive diamonds
all embedded in the
finest platinum,
is one of the most glamorous
pieces of jewelry
in the marketplace today
and at the amazing
price of just 300.00 CC's
is easily affordable.
But Matti's foray into jewelry has not dampened
her enthusiasm for producing the latest in
must-have fashion. Along with Chantell Roses,
Secret Sinz and Waya, Matti produces some
of the most spectacular formal gowns on the
planet. Her most recent design, Baby Blue,
is delightful with her black lace highlights
and silk skirt. While it is still too early
in the season for this garment, Spring is
just around the corner and the Baby Blue
is purrrrfect for the Spring Formal at the
Yacht Club. Click here for more of Mattis recent designs.
LIvid - December 2007 Issue What can you say about Livid? She is unique,
amazing and has a
mind that few are willing
to explore. While we have never been able to corner Livid
for an interview,
she has played a part in
almost every issue
of the magazine and is
a frequent guest
on the Crystal Angel Vacations. Livid never ceases to amaze this fashion
writer. To be able to crawl into her head
and watch as she developes her ideas would
be my one of my three wishes if I came across
a Genie in a bottle. You have to ask yourself, what is it that
causes an individual to create Super Heroes,
Cupids, Babies in Strollers, Bad Babies with
horns and wings, Skis, Bat Heads and even
a Beer Hat for chugging your fav brew without
using those pesky hands? Whatever it is, I hope it sticks around for
a long time because Livid and her creations
are always creating a buzz around the Crystal
Angel general offices high on the 69th floor
of the Thorn Building Not only does Livid create stuff you never
knew you wanted (but
do), she also creates
postures, float tools
and custom Moove browsers.
You name it, Livid
can create it. Livid has also been on the forefront of the
Designer Rights Movement (DRM) in an effort
to protect the copyrights of the artists
and to insure that the hardworking designers
are rightfully credited or paid for their
designs. Her involvement in the DRM has brought
public awareness to the now dwindling unfair
practice of passing on bought designs to
those who have no intention of paying for
the item. Mikey at Friends-R-Us, the Crystal Angel and others are now working
to insure that Livids hard work at this protection
has not been in vain. The Crystal Angel insists that all NOOBS
take a moment and visit Livids Bizarre World
to get a good idea on all the wonderful stuff
you can do in Moove. No need to be scared...much.

Skye Blue - April 2007 I first met Skye at her New Zealand Fashion
Show last Spring
and since then she has become
as much of a supporter
to the Crystal Angel
as nearly anyone.
So much so we hired her. For those of you who may live in a cave on
the top of a snow-capped peak in the Himalayas,
Skye not
only designs wonderful outfits, she is also
the Roving Reporter who was often found giving
us insight into our community on the Board.
With our friend Tassy leaving the Crystal
Angel for a better, more promising job at
the new KitKat Magazine we needed a GREAT
replacement. We scored Skye. Her Roving Reporter
column can be read on page 9d of the Valentines Day Insert While some may say that Skye can be eccentric,
when in a creative mode, we at the Crystal
Angel simply love her. Her recent Crystal
Angel Fundraiser to replace the destroyed
Angel One jet (insurance eventually paid
for its replacement) allowed the Crystal
Angel to create and fund the Angel Kiss Renewal
Grant program (AKRG). The AKRG has awarded
more than 900,000 CC's in anonymous grants
so our friends and neighbors
may continue to remain our friends and neighbors. Skye has not been as productive this past
year as many of her fans (including me) would
have liked, but her styles have always been
the must-have fashions for Spring and we
are hoping and praying that we will be seeing
new creations from Skye as soon as the snow
melts. Click Here to visit Skyes Ragg Doll Boutique Many other designers have played a part in
the success of the Crystal Angel this past
year, including Angels Boutique, which was
owned and operated by Angeleyezs. Angeleyez
passed away in July 2007. We have held the
designs of Angel's Boutique from the public
over the past year out of respect for Angeleyezs,
but have now decided to offer them free of
charge as an Anniversary Gift from Angeleyezs
to the community. Mela and I know she is
proud of
the support and love the Crystal Angel has
experienced from all of you. Click here to download the Angeleyezs Collection Of course these are not the only amazing
designers we had the joy of getting to know.
Dark Embrace, who designed the April Cover
and journeyed with the Crystal Angel crew
to far off destinations around the globe,
also played a major role. Since her latest
creations late last Summer, Dark Embrace
has endured being kidnapped in Cambodia,
held hostage by a Mongolian syndicate and
had a beautiful baby named Brianna. The followers
of fashion are all eagerly awaiting her return
and we miss her keen eye for color and fabrics. Some of the Designers who have graced the
pages of the Crystal
Angel have vanished,
are on sabbatical
or have moved to
the city.
Trend-setter Vallian
Vice, success story
Lethal Lita, and
NOOB host Giggsy
could not
be reached for this
issue. Jargon, our
family
Patriarch and tattoo
artist and Reggae
Rocker,
Rastagirl were unavailable
as both are trekkin
around in the real
world.
The Past, Present and Future The kewlest thing, and what makes us smile
here at the C/A is the amazing
new crop of Designers graduating from the
Rose Academy of Design, Fashion and Technology.
Andrea Sweetgirl, Rayna, Chantell Roses &
the Blood Sisters, S-Boy, and others who
see the spiritual rewards of designing, are
shaking up Fashion House Row. We look forward
to visiting with all of these designers in
the upcoming year. It is not just the Freshman and Sophmore
class that are causing a stir in the pages
of this and other top fashion magazines.
Designers such as Linda TX, Traumkirsche,
Blue2, Juntu, Kim Pink, Marcerin, schutzengel3170,
Miss Liriss, Dave and MaggyMay, the powerful
Rompepelotas Family, sabrewulf, Hamburg Cairo,
KYsJO, Wishmaster, teufelchenBiest and dozens
more have released new and exciting fashions,
gadgets, rooms, actors and browsers. There is enough talent and genius in Moove
to keep the Crystal Angel going for the next
200 years and we are just tickled about it. There are literally dozens of additional
Designers and Artists who have appeared or
been involved over the past year and in no
way is this list complete. Just keep reading
the Crystal Angel Fashion and Design Magazine
and we guarantee you will amazed and in awe
as we bring these Designers to you.
