Just because we are Avatars does not mean
we cannot ROCK!
LET"S ROCK! One of the greatest perks of being high
fashion divas who own the most popular fashion magazine on
Earth is that we get the best seats at concerts,
we are always invited back stage and we get
to party with the bands after the shows.
Yep, it is a hard life that Mela and I have. My friends and family are often confused
about my love of music which ranges from
Opera to Heavy Metal to Folk and Country. I cannot explain it, but I can say this
- it is a hard thing to remain on duty as
an Angel when Britt Black, Nickelback, Kid
Rock or George Strait take the stage.....and
as far as Kid
Kid Rock was
our favorite
concert this past
year. Performing
with Nickelback
on board
the Tahitian
Princess, this
yummy rocker
stole our hearts.
Rock goes; well there is one boy that could
probably get me to change out my team uniform
(think about it - LMBO). I looked up YUMMY
in the old Latin dictionary and there was
a picture of Kid Rock. Go figure. While we are on the subject of Kid, let me
say that his concert on the cruise to Tahiti
was my fav hands down. With only about 220
concert-goers and 99% of them from Moove,
this concert was like living inside a chocolate
covered cherry that vibrated like the spin
cycle on the washing machine I sit on at
home. Brunettes might have trouble relating
to that, but you blonds out there know exactly
what I mean. wink wink It was not just that Nickelback and Uncle
Kracker (now there is an odd fella) ripped
the roof off the auditorium with the Kid,
it was just everything. The crowd who I all
knew, the energy which was enough to power
the

wait, I better
not say that.
whole ship or that I drank too many Long
Island Ice Teas causing the chairs ato move
in front of me when I attempted to walk straight,
made this a night to remember forever. So Kid, if you are out there and have the
time, come see us in Moove and let us Avatar
fans show you how much you have been missing.
LOL I may be an Angel, but there is nothing in
the Angel Manual
that say I cannot
be a head
banger too - and
that is a good thing
because
when Nickelback takes
the stage this girls
(GORGEOUS) blond
hair becomes a deadly
weapon. Yes, I know they can be kinda nasty sometimes,
but the words to the songs bring back memories.
A good example is "Animals" (second
song on this page), which is about a girl

seat with her boyfriend. I have never done
that of course, but
I hear about girls who
do. wink wink. It was not just the big name bands that gave
us great shows this
past year. Robert
Earl
Keen offered us his
unique voice and
insight
into the Real World
and our road trip
to
St. Louis turned
us on to a fantastic
blues
band, the Sean Carney Band. This was the first time Mela and I had ever
taken the stage and performed in front of
a live audience (not including our Karaoke
attempt in Tokyo) and the very fact that
Angel Kiss exists is due to the friendly
and kind way Sean Carney and his band members
treated us. It was not just Sean Carney that treated
us with respect, but everywhere we went to
catch a

show, we were always the subject of interest,
and more times than not we were invited back
stage to mingle with the groupies and musicians.
Choosing the favorite Angel Kiss concert
is not a hard task
since only the Lake
Tahoe
concert could be
called a success.
The riot
at the House of Blues
caused by Avatar-Haters
was more of a nightmare
than anything. Lets
hope that future
concerts by this
hot, new,
all-girl band do
not end in a blaze
of chaos
as happened in Las
Vegas. Shows are not just about music. Mela and

Dark Embrace's style,
amazing fashions,

this
show one of the most
electrifying fashion

in either Moove or

While experiencing the awesome concerts and
small shows over the past year would seem
to be enough to cause a year long grin on
me, it was actually something else that made
these events cherished memories. It was having
my Moove friends and family with me as I
drooled over Kid Rock, pulled a neck muscle
head-banging to Nickelback and took the stage
with Mela in St. Louis. I mean, who wants
to do any of that alone? Not me. As this new year of the Crystal Angel fires
up, we can make one
promise to our readers
and fans. If you
thought last year
was a
total friggin explosion
of fun...well, you
ain't seen nothing
yet.
