Happy Anniversary Crystal Angel

Happy Anniversary to the Crystal Angel Fashion and Design Magazine. Yep, it has been two years that we have been pumping out the Premier Magazine for Moove and Beyond. Hard to believe, isn't it?
We have made some small changes in this issue to better balance the rigors of the real world with my joyous life in Moove. Some are barely noticed and some will jump out at you and say BOOO!. LOL.
The biggest change is the new staggered publishing schedule. For example, on the usual publishing date this month, we uploaded the four page article on the Marijuana Debate. If you visit

the additional articles, you will see the scheduled date for publishing. I did this because of several reasons, the least not being that the real world is getting hectic, and it was either put out a cheesy magazine all at once or a high quality publication that would keep our readers coming back for more. The publishing schedule is also listed to the right on this page.
This staggering of publishing will allow higher quality articles, and will not overload my server as our readers rush to see the whole mag. It also helps balance my visitor stats. I hope it helps everyone enjoy the magazine a teenie bit more.
If you look to the right, you will also notice we are focusing more on the Designers and Moove and less on the outside world. Since the ending of Angel Kiss, traveling all over the world is not as exciting as it once was, so the upcoming issues will be 95% Moove and about 5% other wierdness. LOL.
The "other wierdness" this month is our article on the Marijuana Debate. Covering four pages, we look at the history of the wacky weed - the medical properties - the negative effects (can you spell O.R.E.O. overdose?) and the laws that can put you smack dab in a jail cell for lighting up. I really hope we get some comments on the board to open a dialogue on this controversial subject.
You will also find an article explaining the NEW Moove advertising opportunity available to us all. I have used it and by Lothar adding different "filters", you can target exactly who you want. It is quite amazing and if you have a web site, you will not want to miss this column.
In our effort to get back to showcasing Moove Designers, we have included articles on my dear friend, Rasta Girl - my Auntie Waya and her new line of wings - the one-of-a kind custom designs available from artists like Skye, Livid, LindaTX and others - The latest in hair styles from (another) Auntie of mine, Lady Fire, as well as new offerings from Kabuter, C@ndi and others.
Our Roving Reporter is back, quizzing and probing (ouch) our community as we grow closer to each other through understanding and insight.
Beginning in this issue, we will also be including a Movie Review for a movie that can be watched online (see last month's CABN article). We watched the Chinese film, "Hero" and I can only say that if you LOVE art, this film should not be missed. It is as if someone took Crouching Tiger and painted it with all the colors of the rainbow.
Finally, we offer some tips on Forum (Board) etiquette. The residents of Moove have deep passions about certain things and it shows on the Board. But deep passion does not need to become rudeness or spite. We are all in this community together and by following a few simple guidelines, peace and love can reign supreme.
One additional change you will see in this issue is how we have added the soundtrack to each article. In the past, the music player was located at the top of each page and usually included two songs. This made it annoying for people who read more slowly or carefully as it would repeat.
It also was using up a ton of bandwidth as we hosted each song on our server. We changed it out to a Playlist.com player which is now located at the bottom of each page. This way we were able to add more tracks and lessen bandwidth load.
IMPORTANT
: The Crystal Angel does NOT edit music and in this issue, you will find a few songs that may shock you with explicit lyrics (Straight Out of Compton - Everyday People and others).
I just do not feel that a creation of song by an artist should be edited. They write it to get a message across, and although I do not like swear words, that is my personal choice. I really hope no one is offended.
In closing, let me just say that I love you all so very much and by changing out these few things while balancing the "real world" that has snuck up on me, the Crystal Angel Fashion and Design Magazine will be around for the next two years - with your help of course. HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGZ.
Peace and Love
