We interview the Wizard of Oz, the Peacemaker,
one of the two men (and one woman) behind
Moove.
Don't forget to move your mouse over pictures
for a description When Tigre Bxxx came up with the idea of
interviewing one of the two men (Moove is
really the creation of Logan, his beautiful
wife Belle and Lothar) behind our world of
Moove, I thought for sure he had been bopped
on the head by something quite heavy. But after sitting down with Mela and discussing
what it would be like to actually meet Lothar
and deciding we had nothing to lose, we contacted
him requesting an interview. The reply came
the same day, "how could I say no to
the Crystal Angel". We were so honored,
excited and frankly, pretty darn nervous. I knew of Lothar and we had exchanged emails in trying to get
the magazine more readers, but I only knew
him as the mystery behind the screen - or
as Mela called him, "The Wizard of Oz".
It was decided that when Lothar got to America,
he would give us a call and we would try
to meet up. I begged to have him bring Belle
and Logan, but Lothar explained that someone
had to stay and make sure Moove kept on running
smoothly. In discussing the arrangements for the Interview,
we discovered that Lothar was touring Oktoberfests
in the United States about the time we were
heading across country on our Moove Motorbike
Tour. "This is destiny", Mela told
me. I nodded. We decided to meet up with
Lothar in New Haven, Missouri, just West
of St. Louis. Tigre, Mela and I split from the group and
headed South through
the colorful Autumn
scenery. New Haven
is a National Forest Fall Foliage Hotspot, and is simply breathtaking. We met up with Lothar at the Bucks Hilltop
Lounge at the junction of Highway 100 and
Highway E in New Haven, and sat down for
some cold refreshments and tasty home cooked
"something or other". I have to
be honest, I was like way too awe-struck
and nervous I would spit milk through my
nose if I laughed (or might burp too loud)
to even notice what I ordered or what I ate.
Mela and Tigre were like old pros, just as
realxed as could be. I was impressed and
began to relax. I decided after looking at
Lothars Avatar, that Mela could really help
him "pimp out" some. In a basic
off-the-rack black, Insurance Salesman Suit,
Lothar looked...well...unimposing. "We
just have to get that man into some fashionable
clothes", I told Mela in the ladies
room. "Yep", answered Mela, "that
sweet man needs some SERIOUS fashion advice".
We both cracked up laughing as we headed
back to the table. We moved out to the deck, under the warm
Autumn sun and finished our dessert. Finally
Mela said, "I am so sorry Lothar, but
we need to change out your Avatar",
and she promptly poofed him into something
that was much easier on the eyes and reflected
his warmth and personality much better than
the Insurance Salesman look. "Now we
can talk", laughed Mela and we began
our rare Interview by asking Lothar about
the birth of Moove. We apologize, but the Interview with Lothar
was on Mela's Blackberry
that was siezed
at the Cleveland
Airport as mentioned on
the Cleveland Fashion
Show page. We are working
to retieve the interview.
Thank you.
